One Tree planted for every order!<\/h1>

Yusuf has always been passionate about protecting the environment and this has come across in his charity work and over 50 years of music and words. Songs like 'Where do the children play', 'Ruins and 'King of Trees' are just a few that have shown his deep concern for what we are doing to the planet. So when our partners Teemill shared with us the great tree planting project they champion we were delighted that our store could help towards this campaign.

For every order placed on our store from 9am Friday until midnight Sunday during our Buy One, Get One Tree weekends, we'll plant a tree.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

You do not need to opt-in or pay for tree planting for your orders, or use a code - for every order we receive during that period Teemill will automatically donate the cost of planting one tree to the projects they work with.

Our ambition is to offer something more positive than regular discounts and to learn more about how we can make the biggest impact with this project now. And what we learn from this will carry across into more programs and more positive changes in the future.<\/p>

The world needs more trees, yet the current rate of deforestation means that we're losing a football pitch sized area of forest every two seconds. Teemill exists because of their belief in positive improvements and that means building them themselves if they have to. So instead of giving discounts away this weekend, we're planting a tree for every order placed on our store.

Of the 1 billion items of clothing made each year, almost 40% of all production is never utilised. This means a dump truck of textiles waste goes straight to landfill, every second. And when you think about it, climate change is because of stuff like this. CO2 pollution occurs as part of the process of making things.<\/p>

That's why Teemill makes things differently. Their products and packaging are made from natural materials, not plastic.\u00a0Every product their make is designed to be sent back to them when it is worn out - they make new products from the material they recover, so the cycle itself is renewable.<\/p>
